On 15th February the Rotary Clubs of Mijas International and Marbella-Guadalmina, Mijas Town Hall, and Association Mi Moana, proudly unveiled a large fish sculpture on the beach, designed to collect plastic bottles.
The unveiling was performed by Concejalia Arancha Lopez of Mijas Town Hall and Willem Falter of RC Marbella Guadalmina, which is the Ambassador Club for the EndPlasticSoup movement for Rotary. It was attended by many members of Rotary Clubs along the coast, and students from IES Villa de Mijas, who also collected plastic waste on the Royal Beach.
The “Flavo” Fish sculpture is based from an original idea of Rotary E-Club D2110, Ambassador Club for EndPlasticSoup.
