The first step in solving the plastic pollution problem is to create awareness across the full lifecycle of plastic, and what you can do to contribute to prevent and solve the plastic pollution problem:
- Understand the real problem: (Micro)plastics never go away and are everywhere around us: in the waters, in the soil, in the air.
- Being aware of the impact on our health.
- Reducing the problem: reduce the use of new plastic and reduce single-use unnecessary plastics..
- Provide alternatives and enabling good waste management including composting and recycling.
- Educate our children.
