The beautiful island of Guernsey is tackling marine litter with a smart solution: the PortBin, a Norwegian innovation that collects floating waste in marinas.

Rotary Guernesiais, in partnership with Guernsey Harbours, is raising funds to expand this effort. ‘Hugo’ the Harbour Hoover is currently being serviced after braving storms and high tides—and will soon return to action. Guernsey Harbours is tracking its positive impact.
