Prick-nic

What

Organize a ’green’ picnic and have a cleanup to ‘prick’ waste.

Aim

After the participants cleaned the area they can enjoy a picnic together. Fun in combination with a clean area, an example for other people.

Materials

• For the cleanup: collecting bags, plastic gloves, trash pickers.
• Use and show signs or a flag with the ESRAG-EndPlasticSoup logo for promotion and awareness.
• For the picnic: plastic free picnic, no single use plastics, healthy vegetarian food to show how tasty this can be.

Preparation

• Provide the food, plastic-free cutlery and cleaning materials at the picnic location.
• Promote the picnic in local media.
• Provide a back-up location in case of bad weather.

Afterwards

Send ‘attractive’ or ‘active’ pictures to endplasticsoup@gmail.com, jointly with the description of the activity, including organizing club, results and lessons learned.
