Fish sculpture to collect plastic waste

All ages, 1 hour for the opening ceremony.

Metal sculpture in a fish form to collect plastic waste in tourist areas and on beaches.

Awareness for keeping the area clean.

Production of a sculpture, for example Flavo Fish.
Optionally: offer reusable (jute) bags for collecting plastic waste at the beach to be returned).

Define the right size of the sculpture and arrange funds for the creation and transport.
Select sculpture and make arrangements with the builder. When you want a fish, the Flavo Fish design and production instructions are available. Contact endplasticsoup@gmail.com.
Select the location for placement of the Flavo Fish and arrange regular removal of the waste content. Choose a busy area where the regular emptying can be well arranged.
Consider opening and celebration with authorities and officials. Invite local press.

As part of the EndPlasticSoup Action Day 2022, a “garbage collecting fish” was set up on the beach in Harlesiel, Germany. Rotary Club Wittmund Esens with Rotaract East Frisia, Interact Wittmund Esens and Inner Wheel Harlinger Land cooperated and organized many actions with the inauguration of the garbage fish as the highlight. It showed that cooperation of many different clubs can lead to a great success: more information in german language.
