Welcome to the Region chapter for EndPlasticSoup Eastern North America. This area covers USA – AL, CT, DE,FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, WV; Canada – NB, NL, NS, PE, QC, East ON, St. Pierre and Miquelon; and Caribbean.

Andrea Lacroix, Regional Ambassador/Director Eastern North America

Andrea Lacroix has been interested in trash and recycling for as long as she can remember. She has served on her town’s Waste Reduction Committee for over 10 years and is active in community events promoting town clean-ups, electronic and Styrofoam recycling collections, composting and other sustainability initiatives. She became a Rotarian in June 2022 with the goal of furthering her environmental passion, and in October, 2022, she took a class given by Beyond Plastics. She was stunned to learn not just the extent of plastic waste in our environment, but of the health issues faced by humans as a result. She joined the Speakers’ Bureau to do her part in educating as many people as possible, and has become active within Rotary and ESRAG to spread the word and work on plastic reduction initiatives. She lives in Ipswich, MA.
