Henley Rotary Club, D1090, UK, and friends were in Henley early May undertaking a Plastic Blitz on the Big Help out day. Together with Henley Sea Cadets, Henley Rowing Club, Children from Gillotts school plus other volunteers we cleared rubbish from Mill Meadow and along the towpath to Hambledon. Fifteen bags of rubbish collected, two recycled. Thank you to all those that turned out on a poor weather day. We made a difference.
The Plastic Blitz for Thames21 is from 27th May to 11th June.
