The ‘Eco Bus America’ project is committed to education in the field of environmental problems, with the focus on the problems caused by the excessive use of plastic in our current society. The goal of this project is to create awareness about this among the people. Jorien Timmers wants to make adults and children aware of it, in a fun and accessible way showing them that we ourselves can do a lot against those environmental problems in our daily lives. This starts by being aware of the impact our daily habits have on our planet, to then have a closer look at our own habits we can change in a more environmentally conscious way in our daily lives. She wants to show that in order to improve the world, we have to take the first step ourselves.
Jorien undertakes a trip through America to change peoples mindset. She starts mid 2019 and it will take her about three years. See more information on her website.
