RC Vizianagaram D3020 and RC Amsterdam-Nieuwendam D1580 run the Global Grant 2238142 project for a Plastic Upcycling factory, jointly with our Alliance Save Plastics.
Anna Legeland, PDG of D1580 and member of RC Amsterdam-Nieuwendam, presented the project during the Synergy Europe meeting. EndPlasticSoup was one of the donating parties to this Global Grant.
The Plastic Upcycling factory at the Campus Challenge regional center for disability will produce building materials. The Campus offers a children village with 10 homes for 150 children and youngsters and has an outreach team for 850 children in the villages.
Beside the upcycling factory the project includes Vocational training for the Youth and three trainings in 8 fishing villages from 2024 – 2026: a school program, adult program and hero program.
