Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass Rotary Lösungen für das Problem der Plastikvermüllung beschleunigen kann, indem es mit vielen Organisationen weltweit zusammenarbeitet:
- Lokale und internationale Bündnisse innerhalb und außerhalb von Rotary, um neue Entwicklungen zu unterstützen und Lösungen über den gesamten Lebenszyklus von Kunststoff zu beschleunigen: Refuse, Redesign, Reduce, Reuse, Recover und Recycle.
- Bündnisse für Bildung und Bewusstsein.
- Wissenszentrum und Netzwerk von Universitäten und Forschungsinstituten – Informationen und Kontakte stehen Rotarier*innen weltweit zur Verfügung.
- Zusammenarbeit mit Behörden, um Richtlinien und Gesetze zu ändern, die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit zu verbessern, um die Plastikreduzierung zu beschleunigen und das Abfallmanagementsystem zu verbessern.
- Rotary-Aktionen und -Projekte weltweit zu unterstützen und mit Unternehmen und Organisationen zusammenzuarbeiten, um das Problem der Plastikvermüllung zu lösen bzw. vorzubeugen
