At the recent REM (Rotaract European Meeting) in Luxemburg, I had the opportunity to present to Rotaractors interested in the EndPlasticSoup initiative.
Rotary EndPlasticSoup is dedicated to fighting plastic pollution, a significant threat to both human health and the environment.
In our session, we discussed the extensive impacts of plastic pollution, from harmful microplastics affecting ecosystems to the broader implications for our planet.
To engage the audience, I conducted a quiz to test participants‘ knowledge about plastic and its environmental effects. This interactive approach highlighted both the challenges we face and the crucial steps needed to reduce plastic waste in our communities and beyond. Together, we shared insights on the importance of taking actionable steps through club initiatives to support this mission.
A big thank you to the REM Luxembourg HOC for providing a stage to bring attention to this vital cause. We look forward to future collaborations in our shared goal for a cleaner, plastic-free planet.
